Be prepared for the smell of this ampoule because it sure is weird! It reminds me of the smell you can sometimes pick up from glycolic acid when it reacts to something on your skin but it’s much much stronger. Personally I consider products like these as “treatments” and accept whatever odd characteristics they have since they’re more than just a daily serum and more of a targeted treatment.Despite the weird smell the ampoule is comfortable to wear. It is very thin like water. It isn’t sticky at all. In fact it dries and leaves a later on the skin that feels firm, not skin drying mind you but a firming layer.The packaging is first class. The bottle has a push top that you use to release one ingredient into the other to activate them. This helps ensure freshness and potency. The ampoule is supposed to be used within 2 weeks time so make sure you activate the serum when you plan on consistently using it!I’ve noticed no downsides from this so far…except for the smell. It will take a while before I can gauge how effective this is the serum but the ingredients do look fantastic and I also trust Numbuzin and their products! The ingredients in this really speak for themselves. You get tranexamic acid, glutathione, ascorbic acid and ubiquinone among others. It looks like a powerful formula for sure that includes known performers to lighten and brighten.The bottle is small but since you need to use the formula quickly it would be wasteful if it were any larger. For the types of quality ingredients in this I think it’s worth the cost.I’ll be back with an update if I notice any lightening of my dark spots or overall evening of my complexion.

Let me start off by saying that a lot of thought went into the design of this bottle, in order to bring its customers the highest potency possible. This multi purpose bottle pairs a liquid a solid together, and does not mix them together until really you are ready to do so. One of the biggest take aways is, do not combine until you are ready to use. In my opinion your highest potency will be in the first two weeks of use. Continue to use until bottle is empty.The directions are very small, I had to use a magnifying glass to read them. I did not get any skin irritation from this product. There was no stickiness, I found it lightweight and fast absorbing. I used it on a daily bases, it seems to be effective for me, my skin does feel better and brighter.

This stuff is amazing. I've been using several kinds of tyrosinase inhibitors for melasma, and this formula seems to work best for me. Buying a second bottle and plan on doing 8-week treatments every few months. Once I've gone through my existing Vitamin C I'll also be replacing it with the No. 5 serum.
Don't let the smell deter you! The glutathione smells like sulfur and it's sticky on the skin, BUT it layers very well with my other products, moisturizer, and SPF; the stickiness doesn't stay once you've applied over it. This has an oily consistency, like most antioxidant serums, so place it in your routine accordingly. Give it the full 4 weeks, day and night, and you won't regret it!
