I have tried a lot of eye creams at this point — everything from drugstore to K-beauty, luxury Korean skincare, biotech formulas, and higher-end clinical brands. Medicube, COSRX, HERA Signia, SkinMedica TNS, RéVive… I have gone through plenty. As someone with 52-year-old post-menopausal dry mature skin, the eye area is one of the first places I notice dehydration, creasing, and texture, so I am picky.I used this numbuzin eye cream back when it came in the syringe-style packaging, and I loved the formula but hated the packaging. It felt unnecessary, bulky, and not the easiest to use. This tube is a huge improvement. It is cleaner, easier to control, easier to travel with, and just much more practical.The texture is what makes this a great daytime eye cream for me. It is creamy and smoothing, but not thick or greasy. It gives the under-eye area a more hydrated, slightly softened look without sitting heavily on top of the skin. It also layers well under sunscreen and makeup, which is important because some eye creams pill, crease, or make concealer look worse. This one does not do that on me.Ingredient-wise, this is a strong formula for the category. Retinal is the ingredient that immediately stands out because it is a more advanced retinoid than basic retinol, and it can help support smoother-looking texture and fine lines over time. Using this retinal eye cream along with the matching toner and essence has made my skin look refreshed in a short amount of time. I use it around my eyes and also on my nasolabial lines which have been my biggest concern. That area looks more plump and the lines are less noticeable after just a couple of weeks. The cream is thick which is nice because it doesn't migrate into my eyes like other eye creams I've tried. It's a good sized tube as well!
